The ATS Foundation Research Program is announcing additional grant opportunities for the 2019 cycle! The new grants include a nursing-specific award, as well as an award tailored to researchers in the Pacific Northwest for pulmonary research, specifically the impact of wildfires. There is also a COPD-focused opportunity from ResMed.

2019 Robert B. Mellins, MD Outstanding Achievement Awardee

In 2013, the ATS Foundation and the ATS Assembly on Pediatrics established the Robert B. Mellins, MD, Outstanding Achievement Endowed Award honoring Dr. Mellins’ legacy as a founder of pediatric pulmonology. The Mellins Award recognizes the scholarship and research achievement of an instructor, assistant professor, or early associate professor in the pediatric pulmonology field.

11th Annual ATS Foundation Research Program Benefit

With an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and live music the ATS Foundation kicked off its 11th Annual Research Program Benefit on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
