Make a Difference

The ATS covers the administrative costs of the Foundation so that 100% of research donations can go directly to research grants.

Since its inception, the ATS Foundation Research Program has awarded $19.3 million to 263 investigators who have gone on to later secure $330 million in federal funding. That’s a return on investment of $17 per dollar awarded! By donating today, you’re investing in the discoveries, and the researchers, that will bring us tomorrow’s innovations.

Invest today in respiratory health tomorrow!

Join the 2019 ATS Assembly Challenge

The Assembly Challenge taps into the grassroots community of the ATS assemblies in support of the ATS Foundation Funds for the Future Campaign. Your generosity launches promising young investigators in careers dedicated to scientific discovery and better patient care.

The Challenge launches on December 3, #GivingTuesday, an international day dedicated to giving, and continues through December 31, 2019.

There are three ways to win the 2019 Assembly Challenge:

  • Be the assembly with the most dollars raised in 2019 for the Funds for the Future Campaign;
  • Be the assembly with the highest member participation rate in 2019 for the Funds for the Future Campaign;
  • Be the assembly with most first-time donors December 3-December 31, 2019
