The ATS Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization established in 2004 to raise funds for the ATS Foundation Research Program. The Research Program provides seed grants to young investigators seeking dramatic advances in the discovery of cures and new treatments for a range of respiratory diseases.
As the ATS Foundation has grown and expanded, it has added four additional program areas to its grant making portfolio:
- MECOR (Methods in Epidemiologic, Clinical and Operations Research) international research-related courses
- Ziskind Clinical Research Scholar Award, recognizing the contributions of outstanding clinical researchers
- ATS Assembly Awards and Scholarships in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine
- Medical Education Research, supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of novel educational approaches for training medical residents, fellows, and junior faculty for generations to come
The ATS Foundation welcomes expressions of interest and financial support, regardless of size of gift. We hope you will consider making a generous contribution. Your gift will improve the quality of life for patients, their families, and communities worldwide.
The ATS supports the ATS Foundation’s administrative expenses, assuring that every dollar contributed goes directly to support programs.
