About Assembly-Focused Giving
- The ATS Foundation gratefully accepts gifts supporting ATS assembly scientific excellence awards and scholarships such as the Robert B. Mellins, MD, Outstanding Achievement Endowed Award. Make a gift to your assembly awards and scholarship programs.
- For gifts designed to support assembly projects at the ATS International Conference (such as dinners and receptions, Assembly Membership Meetings, and networking for early career professionals) you may make a gift to your assembly programmatic activities.
About ATS Assemblies
- Through the assemblies, ATS members review, analyze and disseminate the latest basic science, translational and clinical information. One of the most important functions of the assemblies and sections is programming the ATS International Conference. Among those in the respiratory community, the conference is widely recognized as featuring “the best science.”
- Most assembly projects result in an official document, which include statements, workshop reports/conference proceedings, health technology assessments, systematic reviews or clinical practice guidelines. The documents guiding clinical practice are often recognized as the “gold standard” for the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
The ATS supports the ATS Foundation’s administrative expenses, assuring that every dollar contributed goes directly to support programs.
