ATS Assembly Challenge 2018

The ATS Foundation would like to thank all ATS assemblies for their outreach efforts and generosity during the 2018 ATS Assembly Challenge. This was the closest Assembly Challenge yet!

James Donohue
  • Most dollars raised: Allergy Immunology & Inflammation with $74,232
  • Highest member participation: Nursing with 18.26%
  • Most first-time donors in Dec.: Respiratory Cell & Molecular Biology with 25 new donors in Dec. alone

Many members made gifts supporting the Research Program and other core programs in the final days of 2018. Gifts both large and small were received—and much appreciated.

There was tremendous energy around the challenge this year, with assembly chairs crafting special messages geared specifically to their assemblies. Most assembly chairs sent two or more personal emails to their members during the challenge.

Your outreach and generosity provided a big boost to Foundation year-end giving campaigns—and a boost to our upcoming grant-making capacity for talented investigators.

Congratulations to the Allergy Immunology & Inflammation, Nursing, and Respiratory Cell & Molecular Biology assemblies! They received special recognition in ATS communications, at ATS 2019 Dallas, Texas, and within their own assemblies.

Thank you again to all of the ATS assemblies for your enthusiastic support!

Truly, your energy, creativity, and participation this year were outstanding. Thank you for everything that you do for the ATS, the Foundation, young investigators, patients, and respiratory health worldwide.
